Efficient and easy to install security solution for an existing network

The solution for this project needed to be something that could be easily added to the existing IT infrastructure whilst having very little impact on the speed and functionality of the network. Since the Comelit ViP system is P2P (peer to peer) and is not reliant on having a server, it was the ideal product for this project. 

The requirements of the site were a total of seven Comelit iKall entrance panels calling through to two audio Comelit Easycom units. This Comelit audio IP solution was assembled with the guidance of our sales team and installed on the existing network of a distribution company in Northampton by Security and Electronic Solutions based in Kent.

The ViP system has many advantages for the installer as well - on this particular project, the network was already installed and there was minimal cabling involved, the programming is also very simple and straightforward. Both of these factors alone made the ViP system attractive to the client as well as the installers, because it is a very efficient, reliable and quick to install system with a pleasing design.

Another factor that played a great part is the possibility of future expansion, such as adding extra devices to the system. The Comelit ViP system has no limits in regards to distances, number of users or entrance panels and allows to have simultaneous conversations both ways (full duplex) without interference. This reason and all of the above matched the requirements of this project ideally.
